Mom-ecdotal: Social Media Keeps Me Young

Who needs liposuction, tummy tucks and Botox when social media can keep you young.

Or at least I like to think so. I watch TV while chatting with a friend on Facebook. Just like my daughter. My favorite thing is when I find a YouTube video. I show it to her and she ends up posting it on her Facebook page and sharing it with her friends. I play games with friends who are miles apart. The other thing I like about my Facebook friends/connections is it’s broad range: I have friends from all over the world and of every age. I’m not just interacting with people my age, I’m friends with my daughter’s friends. I’ve made friends with friends of friends. The variety ensures the conversation never stops.

Maybe it’s a state of mind but I think keeping up with the social media space keeps us thinking young, active and thinking. These connections keep you energized, active on many levels.
